The MF-MSMF050-2 with Resettable Fuses - PPTC 15V 0.5A-HD 100A MAX (R manufactured by Bourns is a surface mount, resettable polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) fuse. The design of the MF-MSMF050-2 helps to protect against overcurrent, overvoltage and short circuit protection while providing a high fault-tolerance for reliable protection. The device features a current rating of 0.5 amps and a maximum current rating of 100 amps. It has a voltage rating of 15V and is made up of two polymer layers that sandwich a copper element. It also features an ultra-low resistance and automatic reset after trip. The MF-MSMF050-2 has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and is UL 94V-0 recognized.
