High power LEDs are light emitting diodes (LEDs) that have a higher power output than standard LED lights. They are used for lighting and backlighting in applications that require higher illumination, such as in industrial lighting, street lighting, and automotive lighting. They are also used in general lighting, with the purpose of replacing traditional lamps such as incandescent, CFL, and HID. High power LEDs are more efficient than traditional lighting and offer higher lumen/watt efficiency.
