Serial Data Transmission up to 13 Gbps programmable d ifferential Redundant Path Switching o utput Voltage Swing: 600 - 1200 mV Built-in Test propagation d elay: 125 ps Single Supply: -3.3V 2 16 l ead c eramic 3x3mm SMt package: 9mm Functional Diagram General Description t he HMc 678lc 3c is a 2:1 Selector designed to sup- port data transmission rates of up to 13 g bps, and selector port operation of up to 13 g Hz. t he selector routes one of the two single-ended inputs to the differential output upon assertion of the proper select port. t he HMc 678lc 3c also features an output level control pin, VR, which allows for loss compensation or for signal level optimization. all single-ended input signals to the HMc678lc 3c are terminated with 50 o hms to ground on-chip, and may be either ac or dc coupled. t he outputs of the HMc678lc 3c may be operated either differentially or single-ended. o utputs can be connected directly to a 50 o hm terminated system, while dc blocking capacitors may be used if the terminating system is 50 o hms to a non-ground d c voltage. t he HMc 678lc 3c operates from a single -3.3V dc supply and is available in a ceramic RoHS compliant 3x3 mm SMt package.
