The BL4056C-42ES is an SOP-8-EP battery management IC manufactured by Belling that is RoHS compliant. It is a Lithium Cell Protection IC that can be used to safely monitor, recharge, and protect Li-ion/Polymer batteries. It provides monitoring, recharge, and protection functions for two series Li-ion cells and allows the user to control and monitor the battery's status and charge/discharge current. It can precisely monitor cell voltage, current, and temperature to ensure optimal battery performance. It also offers over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. Finally, it also has a power-saving mode in order to reduce power consumption.
