The HX6017A is a battery management PMIC (Power Management IC) manufactured by HEXIN and packaged in a SOP-8L RoHS form factor. It provides a complete set of battery management and protection functions, such as Cell Gas Gauge, Cell Balancing, Over Voltage Protection, Under Voltage Protection, Over Temperature Protection, Over Current Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Cell Current Sensing, and Battery Voltage Sensing. It is designed to be used in lithium-ion and lithium-polymer battery systems and supports multi-cell applications for both series and parallel connected battery stacks. It provides a high level of accuracy and efficiency while consuming very low power. This enables the HX6017A to be used in a wide variety of mobile and stationary applications.
