MIC5019 Ultra-Small High-Side N-Channel MOSFET Driver with Integrated Charge Pump General Description Features The MIC5019 is a high-side MOSFET driver with integrated charge pump designed to switch an N- 4-pin 1.2mm x 1.2mm Thin QFN Package Channel enhancement type MOSFET control signal in +2.7V to +9V supply voltage range high-side or lowside applications. 16V gate drive at VDD = 9V The MIC5019 operates from a 2.7V to 9V supply, and 8V gate drive at VDD = 2.7V generates gate voltages of 9.2V from a 3V supply, and 16V from a 9V supply. The device consumes a low 77A Operates in low and high side configurations of supply current and less than 1A of supply current in 150A (typical) supply current at VDD = 5V shutdown mode. <1A shutdown supply current In high side configurations, the source voltage of the 40C to +125C Junction Temperature Range MOSFET approaches the supply voltage when switched on. To keep the MOSFET turned on, the MIC5019s output drives the MOSFET gate voltage higher than the Applications supply voltage. Load Switch The MIC5019 is available in an ultra-small 4-pin 1.2mm Solenoid Drivers x 1.2mm Thin QFN Package and is rated for 40C to +125C junction temperature range.
