SS16 Microdiode Electronics

The Microdiode Electronics SS16 is a Surface Mount Schottky Barrier Diode (SBD) SMA (DO-214AC) RoHS manufactured electronic part. This device is designed for applications up to 1000V and includes a variety of features that enhance the device’s performance. The device is designed to decrease a circuit's voltage levels and increase current levels, allowing for better control of a circuit’s power flow. Additionally, it features a special low-leakage, low-voltage behavior common to Schottky barrier diodes which helps to ensure that the device does not suffer from significant reverse leakage currents. Furthermore, it has a rugged construction and high junction temperature, making it suitable for use in high temperature conditions. Furthermore, its design has incorporated a 0.020 inch standoff package size to ensure proper application placement in circuit designs. The SS16 also meets RoHS and other safety standards.
