GNSS Shield For Arduino is a GPS/GNSS shield designed for Arduino boards. It provides an easy way to track location, time and velocity (using a built-in 3-axis accelerometer) with just a few lines of code in Arduino Sketch. It also simplifies sending navigation data to autopilot systems or distance-measuring instruments. The modular design allows for both GPS and GLONASS navigation, and dual-frequency signals for precise positioning. It is an Arduino’s shield compatible main-board, which uses a 32-bit STM32F103 microcontroller to process data. The shield contains a Flora GNSS Breakout Board and an Impinj Monza-R6 Bayquest Mini half-cast TagChipboard. The board is equipped with a siren alarm and a backup battery to store navigation data. This shield provides two powerful navigation modes: autonomous navigation and assisted navigation. The shield supports assisted navigation, meaning that it uses real-time differential GPS corrections as well as aiding data from ground-based servers.
