TM74HC595 Titan Micro

The TM74HC595 is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS integrated circuit manufactured by Titan Microelectronics. It is a shift register with serial-in, parallel-out capabilities, housed in a SOP-16 package with 150 mil pin pitch. Its inputs are compatible with TTL levels, and its power supply voltage can be 2V to 6V. It has an output current capability of 25mA.The TM74HC595 functions as a storage register that holds data transmitted from the serial input. By switching the output control pin, multiple stages can be connected in series for up to 8 or 16 bits. The shifting speed is dependent on the operating clock frequency. By controlling the clock, data can be synchronized as well as shifted serially or with a single pin.
