Fuse Clips
Fuse clips are devices designed to hold a cartridge-type fuse safely in place in an electrical circuit. Many fuse clips are designed to work exclusively with a certain size and type of fuse (for example, the standard ATO/ATC fuse). The clips provide protection against accidental shock and are generally made from copper or other conductive metals. The clips are secured to a circuit board or other mounting surface using any type of fastening method, such as screws or clips. Unlike wire nuts and other electrical connectors, fuse clips have no mechanical connection to the wires, so they must always be directly connected to the fuse. Fuse clips also provide an easy way to visual inspection of the fuse without opening up the circuit.
