TE Connectivity Micro TCA Connectors
Micro TCA connectors are a family of high-performance, ruggedized connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding environments. They were developed by the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG) to provide a standardized solution for distributed computing systems such as AdvancedTCA, CompactPCI Serial, AMCA, and MicroTCA. Micro TCA connectors are engineered to meet specific application requirements, with features including low crosstalk, immunity from external interference, high signal integrity, and superior connectivity and interchangeability. They have a variety of contacts, including Power, Ethernet, Serial, USB and other standard interfaces. In addition, the connectors are capable of carrying signals up to 10GHz, making them a good choice for high-speed applications.
