Stmicroelectronics VFD Drivers
A variable frequency drive (VFD) driver is an electrical device used to vary the frequency and voltage of an alternating current (AC) motor. It can be used to control speed, torque, and power factor of the motor depending on the requirements of the applications. The VFD driver adjusts the frequency and voltage supplied to the motor so that it runs at the optimal speeds and operates at efficient levels. VFDs are often used in industrial, agricultural, and commercial applications as they have become an accepted and reliable method for controlling motor speed and power consumption.
