MAX14759/MAX14761/MAX14763 Above- and Below-the-Rails Low On-Resistance Analog Switches General Description Benefits and Features The MAX14759/MAX14761/MAX14763 analog switches S Simplify Power-Supply Requirements are capable of passing bipolar signals that are beyond +3.0V to +5.5V Supply Range their supply rails. These devices operate from a single -25V to +25V Signal Range +3.0V to +5.5V supply and support signals in the -25V S High Performance to +25V range. Low 1I (max) or 2I (max) On-Resistance The MAX14759 is a single-pole/single-throw (SPST) ana- Low 2.4mI (typ) and 5.1mI (typ) R Flatness ON log switch, while the MAX14761 is a dual-SPST analog 500mA (max) Switch Current for MAX14759 switch. The MAX14763 is a single-pole/double-throw Thermal Shutdown Protection (SPDT) analog switch. -40NC to +85NC Operating Temperature Range High Bandwidth: 100MHz (typ) Insertion Loss The MAX14759 features 1I (max) on-resistance with High-ESD Protection Up to 2kV a Q200nA (max) on-leakage current. The MAX14761/ MAX14763 feature 2I (max) on-resistance with a Q100nA S Save Board Space (max) on-leakage current. The low on-resistance and Small 8-Pin and 10-Pin TDFN Packages high bandwidth allow use in digital- and analog-signal Applications switching applications. The MAX14759/MAX14763 are available in an 8-pin Industrial Measurement Systems (3mm x 3mm) TDFN package. The MAX14761 is avail- Instrumentation Systems able in a 10-pin (3mm x 3mm) TDFN package. These RS-485 Termination Switching devices are specified over the -40NC to +85NC extended temperature range.
