Additional Infomation About Product

The SN75173N is a Quadruple Bidirectional Bus Transceiver with 3-State Outputs from Texas Instruments. This device is designed to operate from a single +5V supply, and features independent input and output state control for each port, allowing it to be used as a 4-bit bidirectional transceiver port with independent data flow direction for each bit. The device features three-state outputs for buses or as memory output buffers, and is also useful for multiplexer and demultiplexer functions. The device offers low power consumption (500 µA max) and does not require external pull-up or pull-down resistors. It is available in a 16-pin DIP package and is designed for use in high-speed applications.
