MAX14915 Compact Industrial Octal High-Side Switch with Diagnostics General Description Benefits and Features The MAX14915 has eight high-side switches specified to Robustness and Smart Diagnostics deliver up to 700mA continuous current. The high-side 65V Absolute Maximum Supply Range switches have on-resistance of 250m (max) at 125C Internal Clamps for Fast Inductive Load ambient temperature. Demagnetization CRC Error Checking on the SPI Interface The SPI interface has a built-in chip addressing decoder, Watchdog Timer for Diagnostics Checking allowing communication with multiple MAX14915s utilizing Open-Wire Detection, Both with Switches On and Off a common SPI chip select (CS). Undervoltage Detection with UVLO The SPI interface provides flexibility for global and Loss of V or GND Protection DD per-channel configuration and diagnostic, including over Thermal Shutdown Protection and undervoltage detection, open wire/load detection, Integrated 1kV/42 IEC61000-4-5 Surge overload and current limiting reporting, thermal conditions Protection reporting, and more. -40C to +125C Operating Ambient Temperature Open load detection detects both open-wire/open-load Reduces Power and Heat Dissipation conditions with switches in the on and off states. LED 250m (Max) On-Resistance at T = 125C A drivers provide indication of per-channel fault, status, and 2mA (typ) Supply Current supply undervoltage conditions. Internal active clamps Accurate Output Current Limiting allow for fast turn-off of inductive loads.
