IRS2181STRPBF Microchip

The IRS2181STRPBF is a full bridge or half bridge driver packaged in a SOIC-8 package that is compliant with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards and manufactured by Microchip. The integrated device is primarily designed to control the current in medium- to high-power bridgeless DC-to-DC converters and other high power applications such as fan speed control, motor control, and industrial power supplies. It is able to drive bridge and other current-controlling gate structures with high-voltage, high-current requirements with minimal peripheral components. The device includes built-in detection circuitry to monitor the bridge current and shut down the output in the event of overcurrent, thus protecting the bridge array from excessive power dissipation. The on-chip undervoltage lockout circuit ensures the proper turn-on and turn-off sequencing of the bridge transistors.
