The Rayex AM3-12P is a self-contained, compact stepper motor with a rotating single-shaft design. It is an ideal choice for applications including automatic machines, scientific instruments, medical equipment, production machines, and robotic systems. This stepper motor is designed to provide extremely precise motion control with very low noise and vibration. It includes a hardened steel shaft, an 8-pole-pair motor, an output shaft with a combination of straight and drilled holes, an integrated motor driver, and a permanent magnet rotor. The unit has a 200-step (full step) resolution and offers high torques up to 0.4 Nm at 24 VDC with each phase drawing 0.65 A. The AM3-12P also features a holding torque of 0.6Nm and a maximum speed of 2000 rpm.
