LabsThe SGL8022W is a Touch Screen Controller IC manufactured by Sigma Labs. It features an SOP-8 (150mil) package and is RoHS compliant. This IC is designed to connect to touchscreen panels, working in tandem with host controllers to enable multi-touch, gesture recognition, and pressure detection capabilities. It supports a variety of communication protocols, including I2C, UART, and Parallel Port interfaces. The SGL8022W is capable of detecting up to 20 simultaneous touches, and can differentiate between different stylus sizes and pressure levels. It also features built-in noise immunity to prevent false signals from being detected.
