The part 1478763-9 with D-Sub Backshells BACKSHELL 9P METAL SIZE 1 is a metal D-sub 9-pin backshell produced by TE Connectivity. It has a metal shell with zinc-nickel finish, and is designed to provide strain relief, shielding, and aesthetics on an electronic interface. The backshell handle is flush mounted, and it features an integral coupler for PCB to PCB, PCB to cable and cable to cable applications. It also has additional features to reduce the risk of cable disconnection, and is designed to meet MIL-DTL-26482, IEC 61984, and VDE requirements for insulation resistance, dielectric strength and flame retardancy.
