The Tigo Energy MMU (Maximum Module Unit) and Gateway Kit are a combination of components that are designed to enable solar installations to access the full suite of Tigo Energy’s Smart Modular Optimization (SMO) technologies. The MMU is a junction box with multiple connectors that allows up to 32 TS4-FS optimizers to be connected to one inverter. The Gateway Kit includes a communications gateway, DC transformer, and two aluminum mounting brackets to enable the MMU to be easily connected to the inverter. The Gateway Kit also allows installation of the gateway near the inverter, allowing the user to view and manage their solar installation from anywhere. The combination of the MMU and Gateway Kit allows the user to take advantage of all the benefits of Tigo Energy’s Smart Modular Optimization (SMO) technologies, including energy harvesting, shade management, and yield optimization.
