Park sensors and driving recorders
Parking sensors are devices used to detect the presence of an object in close proximity to the car. They consist of a sensor, that is usually installed in the car’s bumper, connected to an alarm system. When an object is detected, the alarm sounds and the driver is alerted to the presence of the object. They are mainly used as a safety device to prevent collisions while parking as they detect and alert the driver to any objects that are too close to the car.
Driving recorders are electronic devices that document driving activities. They usually include a camera and a microphone and are typically mounted on the front, rear or side of the vehicle in order to record data such as speed, location, acceleration, and braking. This data is recorded and can then be used for analysis of a driver’s behavior or for insurance protection in the event of an accident. Additionally, driving recorders can also be used for security purposes, as footage can be reviewed for evidence in the case of vandalism or a hit-and-run.
