The UP Squared IoT Grove Development Kit is part of Intel and Aaeon’s collaboration that provides developers with a complete hardware and software solution for developing IoT applications. The kit comes with a UP Squared board, an Arduino 101 board, two Grove Base Hats, six wireless and physical Grove sensors, and two wireless actuators. The UP Squared board is a powerful single-board computer that is optimized for IoT applications with the Intel® Atom™ x7-E3950 processor, Intel® HD Graphics, 4GB DDR3L RAM, 4x USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet, HDMI, and a Serial port. The Arduino 101 Board adds expandability to the UP Squared, allowing you to connect Grove sensors and actuators easily, as well as upload sketches to extend the UP Squared’s features. The two Grove Base Hats provide eight Grove connectors for quick plug-and-play integration of Grove sensors and actuators. The sensors and actuators included in the kit allow you to create a variety of applications, from monitoring environmental conditions to creating a virtual button using the included Grove Relay Actuator.
