AU9540 Alcor

The AU9540 Controller SSOP-28 USB ICs with ROHS manufactured by Alcor is a single-chip device that integrates all the necessary components for a full-speed USB device. It is a stand-alone device implementations designed to provide the highest performance while saving space in the USB control circuit. It features a host serial interface engine (SIE), an integrated control register, an 8-bit microcontroller, and a 2K byte physical layer interface. The AU9540 is a 28-pin SSOP package and is RoHS compliant. It supports many low-speed and full-speed device-class definitions, including flash drives, external keyboards, mice, and modems. It also supports higher-speed data transfer operations with optional external PHY circuits and has a highly integrated power switching control.
