The AOT240L is a low gate charge, low voltage, high current Enhanced N-channel MOSFET produced by Alpha & Omega Semiconductor. It is housed in a DPAK (TO-252) Power Package, making it suitable for use as a dc-dc converter switch, laptop adapter and charger, LED backlighting, networking, power management, and load switching applications.
The AOT240L features a low 4.7V drain-source breakdown voltage and maximum continuous drain current of 20A. It has a 10.2 nC typical gate charge and 3.2nC indicated total gate charge, giving it a low power dissipation rating. And its low thermal resistance allows for efficient power conversion and improved thermal management. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The AOT240L is an excellent choice for applications which require high efficiency and low power dissipation.
