AS3992-DB LEO is part of ams’ family of location-based services (LBS) solutions. It is specifically designed to provide high accuracy positioning in a low power, low cost package. It incorporates an integrated ARM® Cortex®-M3 microcontroller with an embedded GNSS (GPS + GLONASS) receiver. The receiver is optimized for fast acquisition, low power consumption and high position accuracy at low cost. The GPS features an industry leading 32 channels, while the GLONASS receiver allows 8 channels. The integrated ARM Cortex microcontroller provides data logging, navigation and tracking capabilities. In addition, AS3992-DB LEO supports a wide range of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Zigbee for easy data transmission.
