The AD797ARZ is a low noise, low distortion microphone preamplifier manufactured by Analog Devices. The device features an exceptionally low noise figure of 3.6 dB and low distortion of 0.0004%. It provides wide dynamic range of superior performance in stereo audio capturing and live audio recording applications. The device is also temperature compensated for its optimum performance and minimal noise at all voltage supplies and temperature conditions. The AD797ARZ is packaged in a 8-lead PDIP or 8-lead SOIC package. It is suitable for use in a variety of audio applications including professional microphones, guitar and bass amplifiers, portable audio recorders, and sound reinforcement cabinets.
