DS28CM00 IC/SMBus Silicon Serial Number www.maxim-ic.com GENERAL DESCRIPTION FEATURES The DS28CM00 is a low-cost, electronic registration Unique, Factory-Lasered and Tested 64-bit number to provide an absolutely unique identity that Registration Number (8-bit Family Code + 48-bit can be determined with the industry standard IC and Serial Number + 8-bit CRC) SMBus interface. The registration number is a SMBus-Compatible IC Serial Interface factory-lasered, 64-bit ROM that includes a unique Supports 100kHz and 400kHz Communication 48-bit serial number, an 8-bit CRC, and an 8-bit Speeds family code (70h).
