LT1965 Series 1.1A, Low Noise, Low Dropout Linear Regulator Features Description n Output Current: 1.1A The LT 1965 series are low noise, low dropout linear regu- n Dropout Voltage: 310mV lators. The devices supply 1.1A of output current with a n Low Noise: 40V (10Hz to 100kHz) 310mV typical dropout voltage. Operating quiescent current RMS n 500A Quiescent Current (Adjustable Version) is 500A for the adjustable version, reducing to <1A in n Wide Input Voltage Range: 1.8V to 20V shutdown. Quiescent current is well controlled it does not n No Protection Diodes Needed rise in dropout as with many other regulators. The LT1965 n Controlled Quiescent Current in Dropout regulators have very low output noise which makes them n Adjustable Output from 1.20V to 19.5V ideal for sensitive RF and DSP supply applications. n Fixed Output Voltages: 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V Output voltage ranges from 1.20V to 19.5V. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery n Stable with Ceramic or Tantalum Capacitors protection, current limiting with foldback, thermal limit- n Reverse-Battery Protection ing and reverse-current protection. The LT1965 series n No Reverse Current are available in fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, n Current Limit with Foldback Protection 3.3V, and as an adjustable device with a 1.20V reference n Thermal Limiting voltage.
