LT3060 Series 45V V , Micropower, IN Low Noise, 100mA Low Dropout, Linear Regulator FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Input Voltage Range: 1.6V to 45V The LT 3060 series are micropower, low dropout voltage n Output Current: 100mA (LDO) linear regulators that operate over a 1.6V to 45V n Quiescent Current: 40A input supply range. The devices supply 100mA of output n Dropout Voltage: 300mV current with a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. A single n Low Noise: 30V (10Hz to 100kHz) external capacitor provides programmable low noise RMS n Adjustable Output: V = 600mV reference performance and output soft-start functional- REF n Fixed Output Voltages: 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, ity. The LT3060s quiescent current is merely 40A and 5V, 15V provides fast transient response with a minimum 2.2F n Output Tolerance: 2% Over Line, Load and output capacitor. In shutdown, quiescent current is less Temperature than 1A and the reference soft-start capacitor is reset. n Single Capacitor Soft-Starts Reference and Lowers The LT3060 regulators optimize stability and transient Output Noise response with low ESR, ceramic output capacitors. n Shutdown Current: < 1A The regulators do not require the addition of ESR as is n Reverse Battery Protection common with other regulators. n Current Limit Foldback Protection n Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery Thermal Limit Protection n protection, reverse-output protection, reverse-current 8-Lead 2mm 2mm 0.75mm DFN and 8-Lead protection, current limit with foldback and thermal ThinSOT Packages n shutdown. The LT3060 series are available in fixed output AEC-Q100 Qualified for Automotive Applications voltages of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V and 15V, and as an adjustable voltage regulator with an output voltage range APPLICATIONS from the 600mV reference to 44.5V.
