LT3066 Series 45V V , 500mA Low Noise, IN Linear Regulator with Programmable Current Limit and Active Output Discharge FEATURES DESCRIPTION n Input Voltage Range: 1.6V to 45V The LT 3066 series are micropower, low noise, low dropout n Output Current: 500mA voltage (LDO) linear regulators that operate over a 1.6V n Active Output Discharge to 45V input voltage range. The devices supply 500mA of n Dropout Voltage: 300mV output current with a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. A n Programmable Precision Current Limit: 10% single external capacitor provides programmable low noise n Power Good Flag reference performance and output soft-start functionality. n Input Filtering for High PSRR A single external resistor programs the LT3066s current n Low Noise: 25V (10Hz to 100kHz) RMS limit, accurate to 10% over a wide input voltage and tem- n Adjustable Output (V = V = 600mV) REF OUT(MIN) perature range. A PWRGD flag indicates output regulation. n Output Tolerance: 2% Over Line, Load and Temperature n The LT3066 features an NMOS pull-down that discharges Stable with Low ESR, Ceramic Output Capacitors the output if SHDN or IN is driven low.
