The LT3972EDDPBF is a synchronous buck converter and power stage controller from Analog Devices designed for use in industrial and automotive applications. It features an input voltage range of 4.5V to 70V and an adjustable switching frequency of up to 1MHz. The chip provides an adjustable output current limit with an adjustable peak current limit, as well as an adjustable soft start time. It is capable of operating in both step-down and step-up configurations, and also has current sensing and cycle-by-cycle current limit protection, making it a versatile and reliable power solution.
