MAX11120MAX11128 1Msps, Low-Power, Serial 12-/10-/8-Bit, 4-/8-/16-Channel ADCs General Description Benefits and Features The MAX11120MAX11128 are 12-/10-/8-bit with external Scan Modes, Internal Averaging, and Internal Clock reference and industry-leading 1.5MHz, full linear band- 16-Entry First-In/First-Out (FIFO) width, high speed, low-power, serial output successive- SampleSet: User-Defined Channel Sequence with approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters Maximum Length of 256 (ADCs). The MAX11120MAX11128 include both internal Analog Multiplexer with True Differential Track/Hold and external clock modes. These devices feature scan 16-/8-/4-Channel Single-Ended mode in both internal and external clock modes. The inter- 8-/4-/2-Channel Fully-Differential Pairs nal clock mode features internal averaging to increase 15-/8-/4-Channel Pseudo-Differential Relative to a SNR. The external clock mode features the SampleSet Common Input technology, a user-programmable analog input channel Two Software-Selectable Bipolar Input Ranges sequencer. The SampleSet approach provides greater V /2, V sequencing flexibility for multichannel applications while REF+ REF+ alleviating significant microcontroller or DSP (controlling Flexible Input Configuration Across All Channels unit) communication overhead.
