MAX11800MAX11803 19-4711 Rev 3 10/10 Low-Power, Ultra-Small Resistive 2 Touch-Screen Controllers with I C/SPI Interface General Description Features The MAX11800MAX11803 low-power touch-screen con- 4-Wire Touch-Screen Interface trollers operate from a single supply of 1.70V to 3.6V, tar- X/Y Coordinate and Touch Pressure Measurement geting power-sensitive applications such as handheld Ratiometric Measurement equipment. The devices contain a 12-bit SAR ADC and a multiplexer to interface with a resistive touch-screen 12-Bit SAR ADC panel. A digital serial interface provides communications. Autonomous mode allows the MAX11800/MAX11801 Operation to control touch-screen activity, thereby freeing the 25MHz SPI Interface (MAX11800/MAX11802) application processor to perform other functions. In 2 400kHz I C Interface (MAX11801/MAX11803) autonomous mode, the devices periodically scan the touch screen for touch events without requiring host- 1.6mm x 2.1mm, 12-Pin WLP and 4mm x 4mm, processor intervention.
