MAX17055 Evaluation Kit Evaluates: MAX17055 General Description Quick Start The MAX17055G/MAX17055X evaluation kits (EV kits) Required Equipment are fully assembled and tested surface-mount PCBs that MAX17055G/MAX17055X EV kit evaluate the stand-alone ModelGauge m5 host-side 1-cell lithium-ion battery pack fuel gauge ICs for lithium-ion (Li+) batteries in handheld and portable equipment. Battery charger or power supply The MAX17055G/MAX17055X EV kits include the Maxim Load circuit DS91230+ USB interface, IC evaluation board, and DS91230+ USB adapter RJ-11 connection cable. Windows based graphical RJ-11 6pos reverse modular cord user interface (GUI) software is available for use with the EV kit and can be downloaded from Maxims website PC with Windows 7 or newer Windows operating www.maximintegrated.com/evkitsoftware. Windows 7 system and USB port or newer Windows operating system is required to use the Procedure EV kit GUI software. The EV kits are fully assembled and tested. Follow the steps below to install the EV kit software, make required Features hardware connections, and start operation of the kits.
