MAX8875 19-1556 Rev 1 12/00 150mA, Low-Dropout Linear Regulator with Power-OK Output General Description Features The MAX8875 low-dropout linear regulator operates from Power-OK Output a +2.5V to +6.5V input range and delivers up to 150mA. Small Output Capacitor (1F ceramic) A P-channel MOSFET pass transistor allows its 85A sup- ply current to remain independent of the load, making this Preset Output Voltages (1% accuracy) device ideal for battery-operated portable equipment Guaranteed 150mA Output Current such as PCS phones, cellular phones, cordless phones, 85A No-Load Supply Current and modems. The MAX8875 features a power-OK (POK) output that indi- Low 110mV Dropout at 100mA Load (165mV at cates when the output is out of regulation.
