It is a 3-pin, surface-mount semiconductor device capable of providing up to 250mA of continuous current at a fixed output voltage of 3.3V. It has low supply current of just 0.6uA, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It comes with output protection, overload protection, and reverse output protection.
