The VRD1328MNX is a linear dropout regulator (LDO) integrated circuit manufactured by AnaSem. The device is a Son-6 RoHS compliant part, utilizing an internal power MOSFET for low dropout voltage operation. It is extremely low dropout (only 210mV for 1.2V output), providing high current with low noise. It is able to deliver up to 3A in a wide range of input/output voltages (1.2V to 5.5V) with very low output ripple. The device contains a comparator, pass element, and low quiescent current control circuit, along with protection features such as overvoltage protection, overload protection, and current limit.
