â AR540/S2/P/P/RS485/WA is a series of a remote terminal unit (RTU) manufactured by Apar. The AR540/S2/P/P/RS485/WA is a compact, modular device capable of interfacing directly with control systems and other intelligent devices. It features four isolated digital input channels and two isolated digital output channels, with a programmable switching range of up to 10V. It is capable of supporting up to 12 Digital Point to Point (D2P) connections, with a selectable wired or wireless communications option. The unit also includes an integrated RS485 port for connection to an external master controller, making it suitable for distributed control systems (DCS). The AR540/S2/P/P/RS485/WA can be used for applications such as industrial process control, remote monitoring, embedded systems, building automation, energy management and HVAC.
