The FHDM 16P5004 is a position measuring system manufactured by Baumer. It has a stainless steel housing, robust and wear-resistant glass scales, and a long life due to its cleverly designed internal components. The system includes a 16mm-diameter milling spindle and stroke length of 500mm, as well as an interface for connection to a computer. It has an accuracy of up to ±2 µm per inch and operates at speeds of up to 1000mm/s. It is suitable for use in grinding machines, lathes, and other machinery requiring precise positioning.
