ElectronicsThe BEP0640SC is a Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) manufactured by Bourne Electronics. It has a DO-214AA (SMB) package, which makes it suitable for many electronics and electrical applications, such as protecting electronic circuits from overvoltage or high levels of energy. The GDT also meets the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements set by the European Union. This device is designed to protect against transient voltage surges caused by lightning strikes, electrostatic discharge, and a variety of other sources of overvoltage spikes. It has a low current leakage and fast rise time, with a 1 kV rated peak pulse power and a maximum breakdown voltage of 7.5 V. The BEP0640SC is a reliable and efficient device that can protect electronic systems from damage due to overvoltage.
