The BTC201N with Gas Discharge Tubes - GDTs 1812 RoHS, manufactured by Bourne, is an electronic part designed to provide overvoltage and surge protection by sensing the incoming voltage and safely conducting the excessive voltage or current quality to the ground. This part is designed to provide ESD performance assurance in accordance with IEC61000-4-2 and contains an arrangement of three Gas Discharge Tubes - GDTs. The tubes are made of ceramic material and coated with a protective coating to ensure reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions.
