The SMAJ5.0A with TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors) SMA (DO-214AC) RoHS manufactured by Bourne is an electronic part that is used to protect sensitive electrical circuits from voltage transients, which are short-term changes in voltage. It provides a low-profile solution for transient overvoltage protection for a variety of circuit applications. The SMAJ5.0A is designed to offer protection to two voltages tiers, where the first tier is a breakdown voltage of 5.0 V (VBR @ 5.0 V) and the second tier is within the range of 5.3V to 7.0 V (VBR @ 5.3 to 7.0). It is compliant with RoHS standards (Restriction on the use of certain Hazardous Substances) and is halogen free. The TVS makes use of SMA (DO-214AC) package type with a maximum allowable power dissipation of 200 mW and a lead-free finish.
