The EM14A1D-519-L232N is a Bourns product designed for television audio applications. It is a 529+ terminal dual-decade audio encoder. The part number is EM14A1D-519-L232N and it is manufactured by Bourns. The part has two concentric knobs: a larger outer knob sets the decimal number 0–9, and a smaller inner knob sets the “unit” or “tenth” number 0–9 within a decade. It also has a built-in resistor between terminals 12 and 13 to provide a voltage-variable resistor for volume control.
