The MF-FSMF035X-2 is a resettable fuse manufactured by Bourns, Inc. It is a Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) device that is rated for 6 volts and 40 amps. It is an overcurrent protection device that works by limiting the amount of current that can pass through the circuit. The device will trip when an overcurrent is detected, then reset after the overcurrent has passed. This part is ideal for devices that don’t require an external fuse for overcurrent protection or are subject to frequent power cycling. Its features include low power consumption, fast response times, and reliability.
