Additional Infomation About Product

The BCT4227EMB-TR is an analog switches/multiplexers manufactured by BroadChip in a MSOP-10 RoHS-compliant package. This device supports very low power on-resistance switching of analog signals up to 5 Volt peak-to-peak without digital power supply. It includes five analog switches that can independently enable or disable the signal to pass through, and can provide up to 500mA current with low on-resistance of 1 Ohm. The device is also designed with a fault monitor circuit which can detect any failures in the passive connection and automatically switch off the power to the switch. The device also provides an integrated watchdog timer circuit to protect the connected system from potential fault conditions. The device is ideal for applications such as A/D and D/A interfaces, analog signal routing, and various other analog signal switching operations.
