The ACPL-C79A-000E is a relay/opto-isolator from Broadcom. It is an optocoupler and features a high common-mode transient immunity (CTI) level up to 17 kV/us. It has IEC 60747-5-2 Safety Approvals and has a low, med and high range of temperatures from -55°C to +105°C. The opto-isolator is designed for use in applications requiring a high level of electrical isolation, such as Power over Ethernet (POE). The device is offered in an SSOP-8 package and offers low power consumption of less than 1 µA.
