HSMA-C120 is a high-speed, dual-mode HD wireless LAN (WLAN) network processor from Broadcom. It is based on an advanced 5G Wi-Fi radio transceiver and a multi-mode, low power ARM Cortex-A7 processor. HSMA-C120 supports 802.11ac and 802.11n Wi-Fi networks and can achieve a maximum data rate of up to 867 Mbps. The processor also supports various WLAN security and mobility solutions such as WPA, WPA2-Personal, and Wi-Fi Protected Setup and provides content filtering, network access control, quality of service (QoS), and WLAN traffic-management capabilities. The module is also integrated with Bluetooth 4.2 radios and is easy to configure and use.
