The CDP is situated alongside the San Pedro River and borders the nearby municipalities of McNeal, Palominas and Sunizona. The majority of the CDP’s population works in agricultural and ranching activities, primarily in cattle production. The town has two convenience stores, a post office, and a few small businesses. There is also a K-8 public school, Hogar Hispano, which serves the area’s Latino children.
