This product is nonflammable. Potential Health Effects: Eyes: Vapors released from other materials used in the desoldering process may cause eye irritation. Skin: Prolonged contact may cause skin irritation and/or sensitization. Ingestion: Not likely. Inhalation: Vapors from soldering processes may cause irritation of the nose and throat. Respiratory sensitization may result from the inhalation of rosin fumes. Pre-Existing Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: None known. SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES Eyes: If eye irritation occurs immediately flush with plenty of water. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Have eyes examined and tested by medical personnel if irritation develops or persists. Skin: If skin irritation occurs wash skin with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persist. Wash clothing separately before reuse. Ingestion: Get medical attention. Inhalation: If user is overcome by fumes during the desoldering process remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen and get immediate medical attention. SECTION 5: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Flash Point: Nonflammable LEL/UEL: Not applicable Extinguishing Media: Water fog, CO , dry chemical, foam are compatible for extinguishing fires involving other materials when Soder-Wick is present. 2 Fire Fighting Instructions: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus (pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent) and full protective gear. SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Small Spills: Pick up and store in a closed container for delivery to a metals recycling center. Do not dispose of by placing in trash. SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with eyes, skin. Wash hands before eating. Use with adequate ventilation.
