C (1/22) Page 1 of 2 Flextips, Super Flextips Product CX50, SX50, CXM50 Product Description Chemtronics Flextips and Super Flextips Swabs are constructed from medical grade, 100 ppi, polyurethane foam which features fine cell structure, providing excellent particle entrapment characteristics. The foam is thermally bonded to the nylon paddle and the polypropylene swab handle without using adhesives. The tough nylon paddle is very flexible and virtually unbreakable. These swabs are ideal for general cleaning applications. Flextips (CX50, CXM50) open cell foam for high absorbency, soil capture and gentle cleaning. Super Flextips (SX50) closed cell foam for increased toughness and abrasion resistance. Traps surface particles while cleaning High solvent capacity holds solvent well Compatibility Fiberless construction does not generate loose fibers or Foam Heads are compatible with most common solvents such particles as isopropyl alcohol, and methanol. Not recommended for use No adhesives or binders are used in the construction with ketones such as acetone or methyl ethyl ketone. Economical for high quantity applications Nylon/Polypropylene Handles are generally compatible with all common solvents including most dilute or weak acids.
